Ordered food ok, but the staff at bar didn't know that there was no nacho cheese sauce for the dirty hunters burgers, so thought that everything was fine, food came and both burgers didn't have the sauce, so went up to ask why and the waitress gave me attitude and said well there isn't any that's why, complained to mangers and they were lovely and gave refund for the burgers, but the whole time my family were there eating all we got was black looks from the waitress and made it a disappointing visit and spoilt my daughters birthday meal out.

Went here tonight, waited quite a while for food, when it arrived it was luke warm, there was 8 of us eating, the burgers were absolutely terrible, like they had been sat for days and re heated. No flavour and like rubber and the buns were like bricks. Not 1 member of staff came to ask if our meals were ok as I would have said it there and then to relay back to the chef. The waitress just looked like she didn’t want to be there. Very cold in the pub too. This was not due to them being too busy either so no excuse for the food. First thing we tried to order they didn’t have, maybe if something isn’t available it should be told to customers as you sit at table and decide then go to the bar to order. I’ve eaten here before but mostly carvery and never had a problem but can’t say the same for tonight’s experience.

Staff are always helpful and friendly.

Disappointing experience. Ordered a meat salad, which was terrible. The salad was missing half the listed ingredients, only consisting of some lettuce and half a tomato. We mentioned it to staff who apologised, but said the kitchen had likely ran out of ingredients. Not the response i expected, considering the meal cost £9.50.

Carvery good, wife had burger, big plate, lot's of ok chips, burger small. Charged for kid's eat free, lady said she'd correct it, still waiting for the £40 i was charged first time

Food is nice. Carvery has a large variety to choose from, it's not the best dinner I've ever had but it's still pretty good. Standard menu is the normal type chain pub grub. Staff always friendly. Usually quite busy.

greated by nice staff. carvery ×2 and drinks .The chef was embarrassed by the Yorkshire puddings , today they looked flat I commented they didn't look very appealing. He did go and get fresh ones which were a lot better. no mash potatoes left and no broccoli , said non left but my food was going cold so did with out after waiting a minute. .nice meal otherwise.Got told we couldn't use blue light card as it was valentines day. !

Refused use of blue lightcard.. Yorkshire pudding were not fit to eat. Carvery had not been topped up. Mash had stuck to bottom of container. No broccoli. Parsnips over done. Very little gravy. Staff very pleasant

Carvery was absolutely beautiful at first it did not look the best I did ask and they brought all fresh out had a problem with a burger but demi who worked here went above and beyond to help us definitely be back also lass who served us was absolutely amazing happy lass and couldn't be anymore helpful :) her name was jody definitely 10/10 for customer service and carvery

Ordered what seemed a simple meal but was wrong on two occasions. Chicken wings tossed in a peri peri sauce fist came with BBQ sauce on and a side of peri peri sauce but obviously you can’t dip bbq wings in a peri peri sauce so asked them to be changed only to be then given a plain portion. Ate them as couldn’t be bothered with any more hassle, struggled to let anyone know as staff don’t like eye contact. Pint was decent on the plus side!
